Collect

From scraps to bolts, it all adds up. We welcome fabric of any size, type, or origin.

Measure

Fabric is measured and listed by others in the community — ready for you to reuse, resell, or turn into something new.

Stitch

Creators across the network turn rescued fabric into crafts, clothing, and custom goods.

Sell

Sell surplus fabric, handmade goods, or made-to-order items that reduce waste by creating only what’s needed.

Why So Much Fabric Never Gets Used

From canceled orders to unsold fabric rolls, pre-consumer waste happens at every level — not just on factory floors. Last Stitch helps intercept and repurpose these materials before they’re lost.

90M

Every year 90 million tons of fabric go to waste — a large portion of this is discarded before it even touches a consumer.

30%

Roughly 30% of that waste is brand new fabric. Pre-consumer waste comes from overproduction, canceled orders, and unsold stock.

$120B

$120 Billion in unused textile value is lost annually due to pre-consumer waste. Not only is it a waste of goods, and resources, it’s a significant business loss as well.

This Platform Grows with You

The more people who participate—by sharing, making, or connecting—the richer the inventory becomes. Together, we’re shaping a new model for reuse.

Our Solution: The LastStitch Ecosystem

Pre-consumer textile waste is one of the most overlooked sustainability challenges across industries — from fashion and interiors to crafting and manufacturing. We built an ecosystem to intercept that waste and give it purpose.

Last Ditch Effort

These are urgent, one-last-try listings from people looking to give their surplus fabric a second chance — and maybe recover some of what they spent. Each post has an expiration date (the last day they’ll hold onto it), and pricing is up to the seller —usually priced to sell, but not always. Either way, it’s your chance to rescue great fabric before it’s gone for good.

Fabric Flip Zone

Smaller quantities. Bigger creative freedom. This section is for reselling pre-consumer fabric in smaller batches — whether it’s surplus from your own stash or fabric saved from Section 1. Perfect for hobbyists, small-batch makers, or anyone who wants quality materials without bulk buys. Flip, repurpose, or create — and earn by keeping fabric in use.

Custom Makes & Services

Turning surplus fabric into one-of-a-kind creations. This section is for makers, crafters, and service-based creatives who transform fabric into new, purposeful products — from custom clothing to accessories, home goods, and art. Products can be made-to-order or pre-made, using fabric from the Last Stitch marketplace, the creator’s own surplus, or a mix of both. Each listing shows how much of the item was made with rescued material (0–100%) — allowing shoppers to see the impact their purchase makes in real time. It’s where creativity meets sustainability — one project at a time.

Our Growing Impact

See the real-time difference our community is making in reducing textile waste. For every yard of fabric saved, unit sold, and product created, we track the total amount of material diverted from landfill — and calculate the estimated CO₂ emissions avoided by repurposing instead of producing new. Our transparent impact tracker shows how every action adds up — so creators, buyers, and sellers can see the role they’re playing in building a more sustainable future.
